Your words touched my heart ❤️ especially regarding my momma. I know she suffered tremendous trauma with her aunts and uncles especially not 🚫 being raised by her parents. I know she married my father reluctantly to escape. Yet, I feel she took out her frustration on me being her first child 😭. The pain is still there but I've learned to forgive her day by day

When I was younger, I asked my dad to tell me about his life because I wanted to learn more about him and understand him better. I have so many pictures of him through different stages of his life. Infancy, Adolescence, and adulthood. With all the troubles he had as an adult, I would look back at those pictures and remind myself that he was just a kid who probably had a lot of dreams. He just didn’t know where to put his pain.

You DID NOT deserve to go through what you went through, but you are now surrounded by love and you are the kind safe place for the child that comes to you. Yes, I would have for them. I did that when mine was already adult, but his tears were never ending, nothing at that point could heal his broken soul, neither the family he created himself. Trauma is real and carried generationally if not dealt with. I am glad you did it instead, as we can see how by love you broke every negative recurrence possible. You are Something really, and the Lord of Nazareth l❤️🔥ves you very much dear Dad❤🎉
