THE MASK, READ BEFORE ASK, PLEASE: This is a cover I recorded 2 years ago for my guitar students. Some of them were in the same room while I was recording it, and the school forced us to wear the mask so we could work. In those days about 10 people died every day in my state due to COVID. Thank you for your attention.
This is one of the best solos of the rock'n' roll history: "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.
I'm using just my 2000 Gibson Reissue 59, a JHS Angry Charlie v2 stomp box and my Egnater Tweaker 15 head with MPF Cabinet (Eminence Alessandro GA-SC64 12" speaker).
Recorded with Audio Technica AT 4081 ribbon mic. All instruments recorded and mixed in Cubase.

Sort of the same observation..To me the phrasing is very specific in this solo.
You absolutely nail the phrasing and as another said,..articulate the notes correctly...All bends were perfect and not flat or sharp...This is a masterful cover.
