One dealership near me tried to slap on "covid spray" and Lo-jack to ALL of their used cars (which they didn't install/spray to their whole inventory upfront, they would only do those after the sale, but they were adamant that they couldn''t remove those as an option since "it was already sprayed/installed", complete bs). I tore up their bullshit listings in front of their office and dropped it like confetti. Next week all their listings removed these additional items and the price. Ask questions, people, and don't put up with bullshit.

Make your best deal and get the salesman damp, then once you're in "finance" present them with your pre-approved check from your credit union. I've done it this way for all the new cars I've purchased. Finance guy gets all sore and quiet and it takes no time to get out of there.
