Please keep in mind though that the combination of oil and garlic is VERY susceptible to botulism, within hours!! Please store your garlic confit and oil based minces and purees in the fridge! The honey is safe, the oil absolutely is not, fridge that stuff, stay safe out there cooks! ❤

OMG i was HOPING TO FIND THIS VIDEO!!! I just went to my favorite Asian market and bought a hella bunch of raw peeled garlic. I literally have in the oven right now a lovely wack of garlic confit getting sweet & saucy, and now I know what I can do with the rest of it, yay! Thanks Jose!

Can I recommend either rough chopping or blending till chunky then freezing in an ice cube tray. Works brilliantly when you have a glut of garlic that is not going to last. Every time you need some just pop a garlic ice cube put and bingo instant chopped garlic. Works great with ginger too!
