After watching the Billy Bob Thornton studio tour and seeing how everything is there ready to go, it really does feed in to how time consuming setting up from scratch can be. Templates with some basic settings all set up are godsend to workflow and productivity

100% agreed! I keep my template mostly blank but have easy ways to input different types of tracks, plugins or outboard gear. So things are modular / flexible. Reaper has this Reainsert plugin for mapping different hardware's IO. I think most DAW's have something similar. Very useful since you can bring in outboard and insert it like a plugin.

Any sort of template are good only If You made yourself acording needs ,personal concepte ,vst and sample packs ! Well they definatly rapide the productivity and shorten the working tine ! Adopting others templets might work or now! If You master plan a template îs easy first save as template in a dedicated folder and then save as from template! Otherwise You end up alter a original template lol!

Honestly this is such a good tip. Especially nice with a slower computer that crashes whenever you try load something, might aswell have it crash once for a bit while it loads everything you need in one go
