There was also, later in Roman history, a year of 5 emperors and a year of 6 emperors.

When you're in a "getting your leaders assassinated" contest and your opponent is the Roman Empire in the year 69 AD

Fun fact :
In the golden age of the CD,DVD the most popular application to write on them was Nero . And when you wanted to write or make a ISO there was a big BURN button for fit.

Otto didn't kill Galba, the praetorian guard did, they then auctioned off the throne, which is where Otto came in.

Edit: I conflated two emperors, guy below me is right.

This should be taught ALL high school history classes. Simply because teenagers who know what 69 means will get a chuckle out of it.

Vespasian ruled for a decade, dying at the age of 69 (of course). He was the one who ordered the construction of Rome's famous Flavian Amphitheater, now known simply as "The Coliseum". Overall, he seemed to be a rather competent ruler. NOT a good person, but he knew how to keep things from falling apart, at least.

His son, Titus, on the other hand, was a bit nicer. He ordered several public works projects, saw to the completion of the Coliseum, and financed relief efforts out of pocket for several major disasters, including (but not limited to) the infamous eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

An alternate account of Nero is that he was a “man of the people”. He was very friendly to the masses, didn’t play by the elite’s rules and was passionate about acting which was seen at the time as being worse than prostitution.
All of the historians living when he was emperor were a part of the extremely wealthy elite. Meaning they were practically enemies. So his enemies wrote the stories about him.
It’s not clear if it’s true but if it is then he is probably the most mischaracterized person in history.
Being known thousands of years after your death as a cruel and psychotic emperor when he probably was a generous and beloved ruler is insane lol

Fun fact: Before Emperor Nero killed himself his last words were "What an artist the world loses in me!"

There's also no evidence confirming he started The Fire of Rome or that he watched it grow while playing the lyre from his palace on the Palatine Hill

I’m fairly certain Nero never actually burned down Rome, can someone correct me on this?
