They're probably selling them as a non anniversary type, I've seen soo many coins that say mintage of 100 or so, but you end up finding the rest of them in a different holder saying something else. It's a shame they do that. 💯

Wow. The hate for mint is a bit overwhelming. “For the people” and “like a business “ are contradictory ideas. Both the post office & the mint struggle to balance these un reconcilable guidelines. Not saying that I “like it”. I’m suggesting it is personal against us. Rather it’s something that needs to be addressed philosophically

They didn't do anything with the rest of them because they don't exist.
The "maximum" mintage limit was 17500. They're not obligated to strike them all!
