This is why the context is needed in these verses read the verses before and after. “Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He [a]should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together [b]with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” Why would Jesus ask to be glorify on the same level as the father? after saying that the father is the only true God. unless he is God as well and by him stating the only true God is the father. it’s a form a humbling himself to give praise to the father, and then he asked the same praise to be given to him . as he does to the father meaning the son and the father glorify each other on the same level , and humble themselves in order to glorify each other . but y’all will say the bible is corrupt even though y’all say God word can’t corrupt so either the word of God can be corrupt or it can’t . And plus your Quran states let the people of the book judge of what has been revealed in it mean they must of had the same book with the time of Mohammed. I will agree people can take things out of context to manipulate the what it says to there benefit . instead of what it actually says Im a person that’s not knowledgeable of the Quran so what I claim may or may not be true about the Quran. I’m not for certain about that claim yet , but never the less I still need to look into the context of the Quran to understand it same with y’all with the Bible out of respect for one another.
