Agreed ! It’s a balancing act for the consumer buying the car for a great price. You don’t want the car with too many miles or too old. But you still want a great car at a great price. My practice and strategy ? I like to buy them about 8 years old with 20 - low 30’s miles. Then I sell that car before it hits 60K miles. Usually between 54-58K. That way, I’m avoiding potentially costly repairs in the future. Yet the car still has appeal to the next buyer. Because the car doesn’t have too many miles. I find this to be the sweet spot balancing act. Plus, I don’t lose a lot of money and the S isn’t too hard to sell.
