Hi everyone! This is my first ever
#shorts and I still donāt really know how this works but I am super duper excited to share this tiramisu recipe that is Vegan!š± (of course) Nut-freeš«š„ Dairy-freeš„& a No-bake dessert!
This dessert is perfect to whip up in a pinch to satisfy your coffee + chocolate cravings and is sooooo delicious. It is creamy, rich yet light, sweet and perfect for one of those days. I love making these because it is easy, quick, high protein and it is a much healthier version of the classic tiramisu because the base of the cream is tofu!
Iāve seen a lot of vegan tiramisu online that uses cashews as the base for the cream, so I thought why not make a vegan version for my mug allergy friends because everyone deserves to have great dessert š®š.
RECIPE
Ingredients š„£
2 fresh smooth tofu
3 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup dairy free yogurt
1 tbsp strong espresso
Half banana
Vanilla extract
1 tsp Agar agar
1 cup espresso
1/4 cup rum or kahlua if you have any
Digestive biscuits
Blend tofu, syrup, banana, vanilla, yogurt, and vanilla protein powder until smooth.
Pour tofu mixture and agar agar in small saucepan and heat until combined with cream. Let it coolš
Meanwhile combine coffee and rum in a small bowl. Dip digestive biscuits and let it soak until it becomes soft. Place neatly on bottom of baking dish, then layer on cream, and then repeat until you run out of cream. Place in fridge for at least 4 hours, dust with cocoa powder and serve! ENJOYYš¤©
