Description: In this short video, learn about the thrilling story of the 1985 Hindi action film "Hoshiyar." Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, the film begins with Jagannath winning a jackpot, only to be killed by his envious friends Dhartiraj (Pran) and Malpani (Kader Khan), who then seize his fortune. Years later, Rakesh (Jeetendra) becomes a pop singer and falls in love with Dhartiraj's daughter Jyoti (Meenakshi Seshadri). Rajesh (Shatrughan Sinha) works for Dhartiraj, but when he opposes Dhartiraj's atrocities against the poor, his sister Shanti is kidnapped and killed. In revenge, Rajesh kidnaps Jyoti. With the help of Rajesh's love interest Radha (Jaya Prada), Rakesh finds them. In a dramatic turn, Sita recognizes Rajesh as her lost son. The film concludes with the brothers uniting to defeat the villains, leading to joyful marriages and a family reunion. Despite the strong performances and Bappi Lahiri's music, the film did not succeed at the box office.
