my grandmother died 5 days before I was born; she died on the sunday, was buried on the tuesday, and I was born on the friday. According to my mum, she was the one who taught me to have the same annoying quirks, food likes and dislikes, and to have the same temperament and love of the spiritual, tarot, the energies of the rocks and crystals and animals of the world. My grandmother went grey "overnight" at 25, starting with a distinct streak on the top right of her hairline. My mum doesn't have it. I have always been "one foot in the spirit world"; I started talking at 9 months old and had adult conversations by 18 months (my parents still have the videos of me), I have always had incredibly vivid dreams that often come true months or even years later, including always fearing an earthquake in a place not known for them and my city was nearly flattened with one when I was 17. I started collecting tarot in my teens, and when I turned 25 I went grey seemingly overnight, with a streak of white on the right side of my hairline, above my right eye, just like my grandmother. My mum was so annoyed, when I showed her she thought I had seen a picture of my grandmother and had bleached it to look like her, and was shocked when I laughed and told her it just grew in all at once ☺️
