Or what about 1 match to go from 100m to 10um (micrometers).. that is a further reduction.

In the same vein that Brian used to make a C, take the first matchstick on the left and change the 0 before the M into a lower-case D. That way, you are going from 100M to 0dm (zero decimeters). Don't think you can decrease more than getting to 0.

Idk, my first though was to grab the drink then pur it over the match sticks. 0 moves and the match sticks are basically useless and worthless.

my big question is how much does economizing movement compare to change in value? because you want to do it in as few moves as possible, but you also want the value to change as much as possible. I see a way to change it from 100 million to 209 with 3 moves, but would that be better than their 100 million to 10,011 in 2?
