You speak my language. The only thing I would do differently is use lens tint paint.

As a 'pimp my ride' fan back in day, I approve of screens everywhere.

You can also use a skill saw with a fine toothed panneling blade turned backwards, and only set to the exact depth of the pelx. I installed solariums for a time.and cut my share if plex this way.

I can literally hear your truck thanking you for improving it, that’s CRAZY

I feel like just getting junkyard glass and installing it yourself would have been cheaper and easier

As a glass installer, this is very common, reason being is that the truck cap manufacturers usually don't carry replacement glass. Well done, but I would've actually tinted the glass instead of poorly spray painting it.

What’s the point of painting it black. Should have just put a metal back panel in then.

Cheep tint sticks to plexiglass and you can see a little when backing up. But some people like to look in the mirror and have the feeling of a 53ft. trailer behind them. (Chef don't judge)

all good except the paint.. maybe re do it with a wrap or actual tint .. but you’ll need to cover the plexiglass with a type of film that allows the tint to stick.. so maybe just a black wrap that has adhesive

I did that for my old f350 rear window, but I only had a piece of plexiglass about 3.5 feet wide so it had street sign aluminum panels to close the gap on either side.

I would have made it so the TV faces backwards, so that you can show messages or memes to people tailgating you
