All I have to give is my experience of living with a narcissist for over 50 years, and I became the angry one. Leave while you are a good person!

The covert one are the worst. No anger or emotions whatsoever as their self hatred projections covertly dismantle and tear apart families and their bonds

You're describing exactly a narc from my life. I separated myself from them long ago, many years before I heard or knew the word narcissist. I just knew they were really 'off' and damaging to my well being.

Yes I never really understood why I was accused of things I knew I didn’t do but I know now it as projection of who they were. I wish I had known all this 43 years ago

Everything with them is a
Flip of the script
It's maddening being accused of things you didn't do don't make the
Mistake of defending yourself cause
They get joy when you do

Thank-you, Dr. Carter. This helps a lot. Being on the receiving end of that daily anger and emotional rejection was very painful. I just didn't understand what was happening.

This is dead on! I've been a counselor and in mental health since 1991.

This explains why my covert narcissist Mother hasn't trusted me for YEARS. Even though, ultimately I've done nothing wrong! Everything thing wrong She accuses me of, are things She literally makes up.

Right they don’t take responsibility of their problems

It's so damaging to see how deliberate and intentional it can be.

And they make their own messes. Always the bad choices. Bad behaviors

A common ploy of my narcissist in my life is to ask me questions only to attempt to refute me with google searches. This Lesson here: THEIR question is merely baiting me. So I will no longer reply and do my best to remain indifferent. One day, I'm sure, I will never speak to this person, it's a matter of when, not if.

This describes my longtime friend who went into a rage and tore me down then later blocked and discarded. Her mom used to go into a rage too (knew her since we were like 12). We both had abusive/dysfunctional families. But it’s no excuse for how she treated me.

Every word you said just described my husband! I listened to it twice, and I actually felt stunned. When his ex-wife died, he came up to me and said, "I don't know how I should feel." Something is seriously wrong with THESE & it's very sad. 😢😞
