Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
You need a shallow tray, organic potting soil, a spray bottle, and your Organo Republic microgreen seeds.
Step 2: Prepare Your Tray
Fill the tray with about 1-2 inches of potting soil. Smooth the surface to ensure an even layer.
Step 3: Plant the Seeds
Sprinkle the Organo Republic seeds evenly over the soil. Don't worry if they are close together; microgreens thrive when densely packed.
Step 4: Watering
Use the spray bottle to mist the seeds generously. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Step 5: Provide Light
Place the tray in a sunny spot or under grow lights. Microgreens need about 12-16 hours of light per day.
Step 6: Wait and Watch
Keep the soil moist by misting daily. In about 7-10 days, your microgreens should be ready to harvest.
Step 7: Harvest
When the microgreens are about 2-3 inches tall and have developed their first set of true leaves, they're ready to harvest. Use scissors to cut the greens just above the soil line.
Step 8: Enjoy
Rinse your harvested microgreens and enjoy them fresh in salads, sandwiches, or as a garnish for your favorite dishes.
