Love the story about pitcains island: it was technically claimed by pirates… so a Royal Navy ship the HMS bounty was sent from Tahiti to Jamaica to transport bread fruit and when they English sailors got to Tahiti they fell in love with the women and didn’t want to leave. When the captain forced them to sail they took over the ship and sent the captain adrift and sailed them and they’re women to pitcains island which didn’t exist on any map at the time. Fast forward to today and everyone who still lives on the island are direct descendent of that crew from the 1800’s

We are still part of the Commonwealth of Britain which doesn't bother me personally.
My grandfather was born in West Hartlepoole Emgland and myself here in Sydney Australia.
