Most people had never sewn before. No skills, no expectations, just a willingness to play. We improvised. First, a fabric collage that will become the back of a jacket (stay tuned!). Then, chiffon brooches from torn fabric strips. Some turned out “better” than others, but that wasn’t the point. The joy was in the process.
Creativity isn’t about perfection—it’s about experimenting, letting go, and seeing where it takes you. And that’s where the magic happens.
