Well said, Mr. Robbins. One of my pet peeves is people using the Cliff Notes version of a passage. My favorite example of this is 1 Corinthians 13. Everyone reads the "Love is patient..." part without reading the before and after portions. Read the whole chapter; it's enough to make one pause and think about the commitment being made. The invention of divisions of chapter and verse in tbe 13th and 16th centuries leads to so much terrible theology. Christians read single verses and often only part of a verse. Awful.

Interesting thing I learned, The word Bible comes from the place where the scriptures were printed. It was called Byblos. This place was known for horrible things. Too horrible for me to mention. But I would definitely look into this Bible word and call The Creator's Book what he called it, ( Kathab Amas) words of truth, or scriptures.
