After Lanzhou, Yiwu is the best city that I’ve gone to as a china, as a Muslim.
You’ll even see road signs, supermarkets, stores with Arabic inscriptions. Which is very very rare.
So many different nationalities seated outside the cafes having tea in the evenings. Pakistanis, North Africans, middle easterners. It really felt like I was in a Muslim country for a bit.
Plus it’s a major major business hub
