Vegan Mexican Food Episode Two : Birria Hibiscus Torta

This recipe was inspired by my girl Steph from @viewsontheroad Love watching her Mexican food recipes and I added some additional things to this to be delicious for our vegan mixed race family.

Here’s what you’ll need to get started this is a little time consuming but it’s worth it . So save this recipe and watch out for part two showing thr next steps and the final result.

Birria Red Sauce Ingredients:
Start by boiling a pot of water add in 4 carrots , 6 bay leaves ,1 large white or brown onion , 6 dry California chile pods , 6 dry Guajillo peppers , 6 cloves of garlic , 2 Tbsp (vegan)chicken bullion

Once all items in your pot are soft add to a blender. Remove all the tops of the peppers prior to blending . Use the water from the pot in the blender .
