Riau Governor Abdul Wahid appointed Rayyan Arkan Dikha, a young dancer on a traditional Pacu Jalur boat from Kuantan Singingi Regency whose video went viral under the nickname "Aura Farming," as Riau's Tourism Ambassador.

The Riau Governor presented him with an award and an educational scholarship as a token of appreciation for his services in promoting Riau culture internationally. He believes Dikha's achievements demonstrate how the digital era can enhance local wisdom.

"His services are significant, and today I am appointing him as Riau's Tourism Ambassador. I am also awarding Dikha an educational scholarship; I hope this will be beneficial for him," said Abdul Wahid at the Riau Governor's Office in Pekanbaru on Tuesday (July 8), as quoted by Antara.

He believes the initiative to provide this award and scholarship is more than just a token of appreciation. It is a form of motivation for other young people in Riau to further love, preserve, and actively promote their regional culture.

He believes that Dikha's actions, although simple, have had a significant impact on Riau's reputation internationally. The Governor emphasized that amidst the flow of digital information, every individual has the potential to become an agent of cultural promotion.
