Labels can do much, but you gotta play it safe and wisely, because labels scare the hell out of artists. Most labels can push your brand while leaving you with dry pockets. You gotta be an eagle. The music industry has all changed. Labels can push you to the deeper ends; let's learn to do it on our own. I feel like labels are for artists with no funds to support their brands; if you have funds to support your brand, don't sign that deal!

Record labels in Zim akaparara in the mid to late 2000s because of piracy. Ngaavongwe records, Grammer, ZMC, Diamond studios, Metro Studios. I remember Aleck Machesoโs Ndezvashe-eh in 2007 sold over 350,000 copies in the first month and thatโs the last we heard of such official numbers ๐
