People expect way too much from certain games. The people who nitpicked and complained about Shadow of the Erdtree are an example. That DLC is a masterpiece in my opinion, but some people were tearing it apart after release. Iâm not going to deny that it had some problems, but they were not game-breaking. One complaint that I heard a lot was that the ending is anti-climactic like they expected some elaborate cutscene, ending, and credit roll at the end. Itâs not ER2. Itâs like they forget itâs a DLC that doesnât add on a new ending. The ending of Elden Ring comes after defeating Elden Beast, not Consort Radahn. None of FromSoftwareâs DLCâs have done anything like that, so I donât get the surprise people had. The only DLC they made that was intended to be the true end, was DS3 Ringed City. Even then, you are left standing in the arena after defeating Gael. There is no pat on the back or cutscene with it either. They gave their fans what we have always enjoyed.

As a fan of elder scrolls here's my reason why I was practically super excited it's because it's been so long that goes for GTA fans it's been so long since we've gotten a game from these franchises a good game so duh expectations are going to be high it's taken so long

Every Elder Scrolls game has been a massive simplification of what came before. I am fully expecting ES6 to essentially play itself and have a single button for "do quest"

I call BS on Bethesda. I understand Rockstar w GTA 6 because they also have RDR2 and people seem to be expecting a game of GTA scale with RDR2 detail, which I just donât know about.
But Bethesda has no excuse. They just need to update their friggin engine and make something that doesnât feel like Skyrim with a new coat of paint on it, like Starfield and FO4 did. If they updated physics and combat, made skill trees a bit more expansive and implemented even half the immersion of a rockstar game, people would be satisfied.
They are just lazy and upset that people wonât be happy with another creation engine turd

OK, this is the one point where I would disagree completely. Iâm not gonna curb my expectations because itâs been almost 15 years. Let that sink in Elder scrolls five came out November 11, 2011. Hi we are going into the 14th year and if I remember correctly, they said that it would be released in 2026, which would be 15 years. Bethesda get your act together if you didnât worry about other projects that flopped in focus on the stuff that weâre asking for you wouldâve had elders six already out and working on elders seven I swear these guys are allergic to money..
