A rare green dinosaur fossil has been discovered in southeastern Utah and reassembled by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

These bones may belong to a new species, likely related to the long-necked Diplodocus. Nicknamed "Gnatalie" after a swarm of gnats at the dig site, this 150-million-year-old dinosaur was found among a mix of other species. Gnatalie measures about 75 feet long and weighs five tons, almost double the length of a city bus!

The green color of its bones is due to volcanic activity millions of years ago, which created a unique green mineral. This November, Gnatalie will become the star attraction at a new wing of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. What do you think about this incredible discovery?
