As someone who was a girlscout. Please, for the love of God, buy the GS brand cookies and not knock-offs. And if you don't want to support GSA, donate to the girls. It stays with them if you donate. The girls only get 1-2$ per box, and that pays for EVERYTHING. The membership, the trips, the badges, etc. And if they don't sell out of cookies, the parents have to buy it all. Being a girl scout during cookie season is literal hell, years of sitting in below freezing weather with grown men flirting with you or old women fussing at you for encouraging unhealthy habits. Cookies and candy are the only way they can raise money other than parents donating. So support your local girlscout troop because I still have trauma from walking in the snow for years without a jacket because the vest needs to be shown only to earn $20 and frostbite.
