Ask Andy when he built his first guitar. It would interesting if he started with a kit perhaps and then progressed to making his own. From this perspective when did he become interested in the tone of different woods in the building a guitar. Does he have a particular favorite combination of top and body woods? I love Koa and how it opens up as it ages but I love the Cedar top tone wood/Koa body combination. My latest Taylor is a K-66. It is a 12 string which has a fret board which is easy on the fingers.

For me, the available GO/jumbo 12 strings have been out of reach in cost since they are limiteds made from high end materials/aesthetics. I would love to see a 600 series maple 12 string made closer to the 362 grand concert cost I have now. I simply love the 362 but am craving the explosiveness of the big boy!

I wish me on all Taylor guitars wooden pickguards. Can you ask, why Taylor uses cheap looking plastic pickguards at their relative expensive guitars, which is a "shame" for me. I personally love and own 4 Taylor Guitars, the least is the 326ce with the soundport Cutaway in ebony, but the pickguard is black plastic. Why not an Ebony-Pickguard?
It should be possible to upgrade for a few dollars more their great guitars.
Greetings from a faithful fan of your YouTube-channel and a guitar "nerd" from Germany

It’s clear that Taylor is the most innovative acoustic guitar manufacturer in the market today. I wonder whether Taylor has considered the obsolescence factor in older models they have offered. Except for limited editions, it feels as if they may leave their older offerings behind. I have a Taylor model with a tone wood combination that is no longer built, for example. It’s not a collector’s edition, just a great guitar that I could afford, barely. It’s not ever going to be a classic. That’s okay, but . . . .

Are they going to expand the GT body shape to include a cutaway?
