I haul fuel and fuel locomotives for Union Pacific under a subcontractor. They took me right out of cdl school - low-ish pay(22 per hour) but built in OT 4d 12 hours so you make 62k and you get holiday pay and occasional safety bonus . Great experience as it’s all local and good training - velocity rail solutions usually always hiring and you can network to other fueling companies while you’re at refineries. Most places want at least 2 years driving for whatever type or 1 year of fuel hauling or hazmat/tankers . Also if you get certified at one refinery it usually rolls over to others if the next company loads up somewhere else . Either way you gotta be careful driving a semi or doubles but the rules are different when you haul fuel to be a safe as possible for example only right lane driving you can drive at 60 mph but 55 is recommended and you’re never rushed . But the tanks are tough I know some guys who have rolled over and nothing exploded everything was ok other than them getting fired for distracted driving .

Great Content. Respectfully, the red or pink background light doesn't align with trucking, Transportation, Logistics and or supply chain....
