Some interesting lore is that sergals have existed in the funger universe way back in the first game. You can also get the serial spear by doing a specific thing in the dungeon.

The reason why he’s in the game is actually kinda cool. A YouTuber called Neco the Sergal played through the game, and the dev (who had no idea what furries were) added a character inspired by him into the game. Which I think is cool.

You can also get the sergal spear on the first game and is cuz Neco the Sergal a YouTuber helped the game to get popular with their walkthrough 7 years ago(first game) and he got honored getting that spear in the first game and eventually his own boss fight on the second with the re-apearance of the spear.
Also is curious how the funger fandom has a lot of lgbtq+ ppl but also has their own small group of bigots that like playing games like that too.
The last thing I swear Miro/Orange the developer of the game was gonna drop it and not update it anymore until he saw Neco's gameplay, like if it wasn't for the sergal's silly YouTube video we wouldn't have the finished game that is fear and hunger one or the second game that I think is still getting updates, that video reignited the passion the dev had for it for looking at someone else playing it and commenting about it.

I know Sergals are supposed to be a tribal/warrior like race, but are they really a bad species? With the depictions of them being bloodthirsty and such, but I always thought their species wasn’t the “monstrous brute” type of fighter.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it characters like “General Rain” and her underling followers the reason their species got such a bad rap?
