That is a very cool catch. I never would’ve thought of that! I have my own theory but for one of the Wisdom Saga characters Spoilers I think Telemachus’ base character archetype he’s built off of is the generic anime protagonist, specifically Ash Ketchum, from Pokémon. The evidence I have is #1: His relatively carefree and simple attitude shown in songs like “We’d be fine” where he immediately befriends Athena and is quite light hearted in the face of danger especially after getting captured by the suitors. This behavior is common in anime for people like Itadori Yuji (Jujutsu Kaisen) and Emma (Promised Neverland). #2: He strives to be on the same level of greatness as his father, a common character trope for anime protagonists who have a model power level and strive to reach it. For example Anya Forger (Spy Family) pretends to be a super spy like her father and her TV hero, despite the possibility of her ever getting to that level seems nearly impossible, she still tries, in her own inexperienced way. Same with Kamado Tanjiro (Demon Slayer) who looks at the Hashiras with reverence for their skill. #3 Telemachus is like Ash Ketchum, because of two things about his song “Legendary”. The first point is the lines “I wanna be Legendary”. If that doesn’t sound like “I wanna be the very best, that no one ever was” I don’t know what does. Finally, the lines where Telemachus talks about how he wants to fight all of the monsters “I’ll fight the Harpies and Chimeras, the Minotaurs, even Cerberus” show a connection to “Gotta catch ‘em all”. While not catching per se, Telemachus does want to fight all the monsters (monsters that Jorge has confirmed to work like Pokémon or Yu-Gi-O during battles) and if there’s one thing that Ash Ketchum loves above all else, it is battling. So there, that is my evidence to why Telemachus is actually Ash Ketchum.
