Try looking for a local cat rescue for the kittens once they are old enough to leave their mom, I had one take in some of the kittens my sister and I found, you probably can't do much more than your going for the adult cats, rescues are less likely to take them, and a shelter will probably put them down. Thank you for doing what you can. Cats deserve better. โค

This is why Iโm a cat person. She only allows me to have just her she would never allow another cat in her yard. But I also rescued her from the parking lot at work she was an abandoned runt hardly a couple weeks old that all the other cats would attack she even has a small
Chunk gone from her right ear. I fed her for about 4 months before finally being able to bring her home because I knew she would die as a kitten in the winter. Got her fixed and all that on day one. Now sheโs a happy smol tuxedo cat who wants for nothing. Iโm the Only one she lets touch her even though my grandmother lives with me she still will only let me touch her. I feel bad for my grandma but she has 2 black labs so sheโs fine lol
