Iβm in the middle of an engine replacement on my 05 Dodge and I think Iβm gonna use this strategy when itβs time to put the G56 back in. Iβm not strong enough to precisely bench press a 225 pound transmission into place

A trick I learned when it's a Chevy is a couple pieces of All thread in the bottom 2 holes helps a lot too. Great use of a hoist for sure

Done with a floor jack and some two-by-fours. They do make a floor transmission
