I know that sucks, after paying $20 a month for a few request per day. I resort to switching to 3.5 which doesnt have access to the internet but has voice feature and works faster than the 4. It pretty much equally as powerful too and has no limit. Should still work well for your language practice. Good luck!

Dude, with how hard French is, I don't recommend using an AI for developing conversational skills. Trust me on this, I'm French and I've taught this language to foreigners in the past, and the best way I'd recommend would be having French friends/acquaintances to talk to.
As much as you can try with an AI, they will never have the speech habits that make people sound French. Back when I was a teenager, we had an australian girl come to France at my school, and talking to French people made her develop speech habits indistinguishable from those of a French person.

It downgraded to 3.5 and much lower quality
It was irritating and annoying but as one of the hottest topic in the world, I guess part of this is because they donât have the needed infrastructure maybe
