Grandma got cancer and had multiple surgeries trying to get it removed, but grandpa didn’t want her to take pain killers, because he wanted her cognizant to be able to continue her care of grandpa. When she “went against his wishes” and took pain meds while recovering, grandpa took that as permission to cheat. ex fully thought grandpa was justified.
