My friend in middle school saved my life. One summer we were playing at a lake that both our families camped at, we were being silly and running around. I started to have an asthma attack and realized my inhaler was in my dad's boat that was anchored far off shore. This girl swam to get my inhaler and bring it to me!!!!

I was diagnosed with asthma in the 80s, I have the greatest respect for the folks that made the puffer. They make life liveable and hellped me to run marathons back then and keep on ticking since then.

Notable 20th century scientist and personal hero of mine Clair Patterson (calculated the age of the earth and single handedly lead the effort to remove lead from gasoline) actually died of an asthma attack in his office

I’m a respiratory therapist. I never heard of a respirologist before. Is that the same as a pulmonologist?

For all that smoke please quit. I smoked for 42 years and tried numerous times to quit. I could not. On Aug. 5, 2010 I smoked the last cigarette I had and I said to myself "now would be a good time to quit. Right then I received the faith of a mustard seed as in the Bible, from The Lord. I bowed my head in prayer and asked Jesus to take my cigarette addiction and He did immediately and I knew it. I had zero withdrawals. He was just waiting on me and He gave me a miracle.

Yes, you could you need more than the inhaler you need a breathing machine you need to take medication I don’t smoke. I’ve been having asthma since I was 16 months so the advice that y’all given is not right because my doctor did not see none of those things that you say, you can die from asthma
