As good of a tip that is, it isn't a 'trick to make your own alpha brush' , but just how you utilize alphas in Blender sculpt mode. I was expecting you to show how to model in camera and render out unique patterns to a square image and automate loading that to your sculpt or texture brush. THAT would be a trick.
