Also, she can definitely still geld him at this age. Lots of stallions are gelded as older horses for a whole lot of reasons. It won't fix a lot of the behaviours but he could at least go in with a herd of mares that mean business when they are disrespected and he will be a lot happier horse for it.

The crazy thing is everyone here and Raleigh herself can agree, WE JUST WANT THE BEST FOR SOX. If that means Tanya sucks in her pride and learns to do better AWESOME GREAT, but if that means he has to be taken from her and put somewhere safer then that is the fault of Tanya not properly caring for him. I could agree she cares for her horse- sort of- but its poor care and pride and naivety thinking she is right in how she has handled him.

She didn't want a stallion, but instead of gelding him and allowing him to be a proper horse in a herd she decides to keep him as a stallion and keep him isolated so he cribs his teeth down to nubs due to stress and agitation. I don't understand how she during the 15 (?) years she has had him has been unable to see how abusive that is to the horse.
