Color matched plastic? Also brightness changing with extra software is not native. LG Ultrasharp have native support. But BenQ does this most likely done via the DDC standard. There’s this program called MonitorControl that can do it for most displays.

there is a more powerful one for 5K 27inch that costs $800
it's called the Kuycon G27P and has all this monitor's features, but even cooler. At the back, there's the same design on Pro Display XDR
