Oh Dear Lord in heaven! I don't always agree with you, but thank you from the bottom of my hard-earned often didactic heart for producing this video. I cannot believe how many well-educated people mispronounce that word. When I hear it from a representative of a firearms company, I want not anything to do with their products. I have puked up my toenails from hearing "AMBI-DEX-TREE-US" one time too many. You have partially restored my faith in the once great English language.

This bothers you? I wish people would learn where and when to use fewer versus less.
IMHO the ambidextrous mispronunciation is akin to folks who say "lie berry" instead of library, "woof" instead of wolf, and "bat tree" instead of battery.
Also "cue pon" instead of coupon, "new cue lar" instead of nuclear, and finally "pee can" instead of pecan.
