if you don’t play competitive games, dlss is going to be amazing. better fps with great graphics, the image quality issues you mentioned are basically gone with dlss4 too. however, i hope that graphics card companies don’t take this new ai frame thing as a cheap cop out to produce mediocre products that seem amazing.

hardware unbox analysis has shown that frame gen up to 4x is only good if you already have a good frame rate. if your getting 30fps and use frame gen, then you would get a lot of aliasing, ghosting etc.

thats why the 5070ti is a beautiful mix of performance and budget, where it performs better than the 5070 and 4090, and prevents screen tearing better using dlss4, for a little more money.

For those wondering, the image quality becomes better and it’s 0 added input lag over DLSS 3.5 and who knows how much lower it will be when Reflex 2 releases

I never upscale to anything , unless my pc can’t handle the resolution and settings I want to play on . No matter how good it may look for any kind of upscale . It will always impact the native image and will not look as good .
