I've loved your content for a long time Blake and I really hope to become a filmmaker like you! To make a few short films every year constantly and give filmmaking tips. Higgsfield AI and Google Veo 3 looks very good so far from your videos, but which GenAI tool is the best to you? I am trying to figure out which to use too to supplement filmmaking!

“If you think AI is going to steal your job, maybe you’re not good enough to begin with.” Is the most brain dead logic I’ve ever heard regarding AI.
In the case of Artists, if you had an ounce of critical thought you would know that clients, producers, brands, etc. always go with the cheaper alternative. Want a painting for your house? Oil painters are expensive, why not go write up a prompt and have it in seconds. Need a script? Writers take forever to finish and cost money, just ask Chat GPT to regurgitate some slop for you to claim as your own. You’re a big company with a new line of products to sell? Why employ a team of creatives to make an ad campaign when you could just use AI to do all the work. It’s not like humans need jobs or money or stability. Let’s kick artists to the curb and feed this machine that has no feeling, passion, or morality.
Cutting costs and increasing profit margins is the #1 priority for every company, high ticket client, executive producer there is out there. You feeding these algorithms is the closest you can become to a serpent swallowing it’s own tail. You’re slowly phasing yourself out, along with other filmmakers. Only the top, most established filmmakers will prosper. (And to be perfectly candid.) Your little “made for YouTube” passion projects aren’t going to make the cut. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
