In 1984 I had a 1971 Red Sonett, which I sold. Ever time you have a issue, I feel your pain. My car was only 13 years old and parts were more readily available. Much success.

People who have old cars like this with bulky body panels are so lucky. Even with mismatching colored parts and missing bumpers. It makes the car look like something out of Mad Max or like an old Colt with miss matching anodizing. Lotโs of character.

Here's a tip. Paint your car with a rustoleum color. Then every ace hardware has cans of paint already color matched and it actually matches lol

Cars will never match right unless you do the whole thing. Thatโs my experience at least.

Geeez. Bummer. Well, all the prep work will stay pay off. Myself, I like the light purple better (which was a factory colour?). Try again. You can only get closer than what you have now! Is there not a way to colour analyze successfully? cd/
