I just brought my Whippet puppy home. If she were a food, she'd be a marshmallow peep. A cinnamon fireball whiskey flavored marshmallow peep with just a dash of ghost pepper tobasco on top! She is the sweetest thing, and of course comes with all the puppy nonsense all babydoggies are full of, except she does it all 10x faster than any little Golden or GSD can! How I love my little Juno, and recommend Whippets as an amazingly sweet and delightful breed.

I got malfunctioning whippet lmao she is too confident and friendly. It could be a puppy phase but god she has huge personality! I love her dearly I think they are so adorable and perfect for family. However, this wild puppy phase is crazy!!

After a great dane, Old English Sheepdog, two doxies, two Golden Retrievers in my adulthood. All wonderful in their way but, I can concur. We have a whippet now and they are just SO sweet natured. Great breed for older folks in many ways too. They are NOT easy as puppies but, once past the puppy stage? They are just so easy!

QUESTION FOR ALL WHIPPET OWNERS, could a Whippet, WHEN GROWN, be a therapy dog for visitation at nursing homes, hospitals, elderly peoples homes, that can no longer have their own dogs anymore?? Seems like a very sweet breed...
