The only reason I am for banning abortion is because modern people cannot take responsibility for their actions. (Not talking about edge cases like grape, etc. I'm for those) but most women I've met think of it as an easy out for other bad decisions. Chosing to have sex always carries a risk of pregnancy and women suffer the burden of child birth. Be pickier with who you are sleeping with and know that you may need to take responsibility if you do decide to have sex.
If you know your reaction to hearing you are pregnant is "my life may be falling apart" then don't have sex. Make that choice for your future self. Once you are pregnant the line "I may not be able to make decisions for myself" is the right way of thinking about it. That baby cannot advocate for itself and it cannot make decisions but as the bearer of the child you can. Make choices that benefit the child and its future.
Having sex as freely as men do isn't a good thing for any part of society and as people living in society that also mean yourself. Hold yourself accountable for your own actions and pick men that do the same.
