As someone who is an addict, I disagree. It’s definitely not a choice.
I chose to get sober that’s for damn sure. I was tired of being sick and tired. I never chose drugs over my kids or family. And sometimes it was hell to stop. It’s something that speaks to you in your brain telling you that you need it when you don’t.
I’m 5 years going on 6 years sober.
But shit….how would I know anything. I’m just an addict.

She seemed to tolerate her mother as she had her in a few videos a while back, however I think her mom voiced concern over having 4 kids and breaking up her partnership with Oscar for Preston. I think this is kyra getting mad and striking back at her mom. I remember a video where kyra pointed out her mother didn’t like Oscar much and she was kicked out when she got pregnant.

??? Not only is she completely wrong about addiction and making very disrespectful assumptions about all of us recovering as a whole with that first post, she’s publicly airing out her mom. Unless that woman did something morally indefensible that you need to publicize it to keep others safe, that’sweird. Oxy’s are very easy to get addicted to but doctors prescribe hard drugs like its tylenol, if you wanna support her do it but insulting someone who’s addicted will only push them further into addiction.

She is such a child. Why not just show Preston if you think it’s no big deal. You broke up a marriage. That is not ok. This girl is going to end up with a nervous breakdown if she doesn’t stop with all her destructive habits.
