Here is the Mix Bus processing I did for this particular song. If I’m going in the box I prefer the @solidstatelogic BUS COMPRESSOR 2 plug-in with the side chain set to about 80 Hz (depending on the song). Then I hit the @tubetech PULTEC EQ typically boosting or cutting 60 Hz, and adding some 10 or 12 K! Then I use the @chandlerlimited CURVE BENDER EQ to typically boost some groups of frequencies that might be lacking in the song! The most important thing here is that this differs for every song. Sometimes I do more compressions, sometimes less, sometimes have the side chain on or off. Depending on the mix and the style of song, I might be boosting or cutting totally different frequencies. Every song is different and therefore settings change from song to song!
