I hope that the authorities will continue to investigate about who brought live ammunition onto the set. Why were ANY live rounds on the set? Who brought them in, and who loaded a gun with the live rounds. The young woman most certainly didnāt shoot herself, so who put the live ammunition into a faulty gun that Alec was given, telling him that the gun only had dead bullets.
One of these people IS responsible for Helenaās death. Whoever put live rounds into the gun is responsible. My hope is that there will be NO LIVE AMMUNITION on movie sets, ever again. Thereās no legitimate need for it, and if we need to pass a law about it on any kind of entertainment set, we should do that as fast as possible.

I was confused as to why Baldwin was charged with manslaughter. Isn't manslaughter when you accidentally kill someone out of recklessness, such as speeding? He was handed a gun for the movie scene that was supposed to be unloaded. He didn't load that gun. So, how was any of it his fault?

I just donāt see how itās his fault. It was supposed to be clean. It was supposed to be a prop. That falls on the prop master/ weapons master who is supposed to pre fire the gun. Despite what Will Smith said, Iām sure plenty of actors rely on the appropriate people to make sure the weapons are safe.

Helena Hutchinsā husband is now a coproducer on the film and is on board with the film moving forward. He was quoted as saying it was a ātragic accident.ā He has received a civil settlement on behalf of himself and their little son. It is still possible the charges could be refiled. It is odd there have been various changes in prosecutors.
