Free electricity forever is a bit of a stretch.. lets do some basic math: 500 watts of solar with produce 350ish watts at solar maximum, but that only last for a few hours. averaging 200 watts over 10 hours is reasonable tho. That is 2 KWH/day. enough to get you maybe 5 miles if you dont use any other electricity in the van...

500W Solar charging 15KW battery will take 34.7 peak sun hours! That's 3-4 days even in sunny California! Good luck w/running 2000W AC.

Could you clarify why you put so much great technology in an electric van but don't for your gas vans? Do you not think we wouldn't want the same conveniences now? What stops Winnebago from giving us all this in a gas van? I would LOVE this amount of solar and battery bank now. I'm an older single woman and would be uncomfortable with only one power source to move my vehicle.
