That is not even the worst part. As another commenter says, Vietnam invaded because of how horrible it had gotten, and the US SUPPORTED THE POL POT IN THIS. In fact, his regime was still considered the “legitimate” regime by the US for decades after, and he was only considered a war criminal on the day he died.

I think Josef Mengele at least deserves a mention, he was a german SS officer who got the nickname of "Angel of Death".
