Some reasons to have hope + some things to live for:
we have more knowledge and tools than ever to make the world a better place
the way the sky looks when the sun is going to set or when it’s rising
more and more people are becoming aware of what needs to change and people who stand to have power or are already in positions of power are becoming more and more aware of ways to help humanity
there’s so many interestingly cool things that people have created and will create some day for us to play with or use to make things easier, funner, and/or more accessible and convenient for people
the beauty of nature and the way that everything is part of the art of the universe.. it’s like we’re a part of a massive painting of life from the universe’s perspective.. and simultaneously part of the giant piece of artistic expression that is the universe and whatever may be beyond it
you have talents and skills that you can endlessly improve upon and utilize to make something great, potentially make the world a better place, and add more fulfillment to your life
your an important part of something and your existence matters
the medical advancements that have been made and those that we have not seen yet - including for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mental health struggles. As someone who has benefited from a certain alternative treatment options for treatment resistant depression, this is one I’m pretty excited and passionate about
